Software Engineer – Front End (Angular)

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Software Engineer – Front End (Angular) will solve business problems by analyzing needs, designing solutions, and ultimately writing code. You will be responsible for delivering enhancements, fixes, and features in collaboration with software developers, quality assurance and product. 

Must-Have Technical Skills: 

Angular 14+, NgRx 

Nice-To-Have Technical Skills: 

Angular Material, HTML, SCSS, RxJS 

What You’ll Accomplish - Your Performance Objectives 

Objective #1  

In your first 30 days:  

• Build and set up your local development environment for Veryon Diagnostics  

• Demonstrate knowledge and capability in the use of existing tools and technologies  

• Submit your first Angular, HTML, or SCSS based merge request to a Veryon Diagnostics gitlab repository  

Objective #2  

In your first 60 days:  

• Resolve defects in Angular, HTML, and CSS across the system by working with our Quality Assurance team to ensure the solutions meet our quality standards  

• Develop new unit tests for your Angular solutions to further ensure code quality through automation  

•  Collaborate with product and engineering teams to solve technical and business problems  

Objective #3  

In your first 90 days:  

• Move at least one bug and/or story through development, QA, UAT and live in Production 

• Attend to all JIRA tasks appropriately, collaborating with QA, DevOps and Product. 

• Maintain wiki pages in Confluence relevant to changes
